Sosokan (Bldg. No. 14)

Sosokan is a symbol tower on Yagami campus, representing “Creation and Imagination”. This building is built on top of the hill and spectacular views including Shinjuku Subcenter, Yokohama Minatomirai and Mount Fuji can be seen from the 7th floor. La Poire, a café with a grand piano and seminar rooms are located in the west wing, and conference rooms and a multi-media room are located in the east wing.

Directions from Hiyoshi Station (15 min. walk)
Route 1:
From Hiyoshi station – Hiyoshi Campus route.
Walking across Hiyoshi Campus. This is a relatively safe route due to a very low vehicle traffic volume; however, there are a flight of steps on the way.
Route 2:
From Hiyoshi station -Tsunashima Kaido(Highway) Route.
This is a route avoiding walking through a flight of steps. Tsunashima Kaido (Highway) is a busy street with motor-vehicles.Pedestrians are required to pay more attention to the motor-vehicle traffic when walking along Tsunashima Kaido.

15 min. walk from “Hiyoshi” station using Tokyu Toyoko Line, Tokyu Meguro Line and Yokohama Municipal Subway Green-Line.

  • From Shibuya station to Hiyoshi station: 25min. (17 min. By Express train) (Tokyu Toyoko Line)
  • From Yokohama station to Hiyoshi station: 18min. (11 min. by Express train) (Tokyu Toyoko Line)
  • From Shinyokohama station to Kikuna station to Hiyoshi station : 20 min. (JR Yokohama Line and Tokyu Toyoko Line)

※Special Express trains do not stop at Hiyoshi station.

  • From Tokyo station to Shinkawasaki station: Approx. 20 min. (JR Sobu/Yokosuka Line)
  • From Yokohama station to Shinkawasaki station: Approx. 10 min. (JR Sobu/Yokosuka Line)
  • ※From Shinkawasaki station , approx. 10 min. by taxi.

Driving Directions

From North (Tokyo area): Expressway (Toll road) to Tsunashima Kaido (Street) and make a left turn at the Nakanotani intersection.
From Shuto Expressway Exits (a coupe of options available): Nakahara Kaido (Street) to Tsunashima Kaido (Street) .
From Tomei Expressway (Toll road) Tomei Kawasaki Exit and Daisan Keihin Road (Toll road) Keihin Kawasaki Ext: Kanagawa Prefectural Route 14 to Tsunashima Kaido (Street). From South (Yokohama area): Tsunashima Kaido (Street) and make a right turn at the Nakanotani intersection.
From Tomei Expressway (Toll road) Aoba Exit Kanagawa Prefectural Route 102 to Tsunashima Kaido (Street) .
Daisan Keihin Road (Toll road) Tsuzuki Exit: Kanagawa Prefectural Route 106 to Tsunashima Kaido (Street)

From Kamoi station: Take the Yokohama Municipal bus bound for “Nakayama station” from the Terminal 2 at the South Exit of the station to “Hakusan High-Tech Park” stop.
